Full Description

My idea is a center for teens that will keep teens off the street and away from bad decisions in life but to also keep them happy and occupied. If I were to be able to create a teen center, teens could play games, go to workshops and other learning activities but also be able to have their ideas or passions to be heard. I would plan a certain time for each person, who signs up, to be able to talk to people about their aspects. I would also want an area that teens could sell things (kind of like a yardsale). They could sell anything they have lying around or even things like their artwork (which would really help them strive to their goals and put themselves out there for criticism). I think a center like this would help teens, not only to have something to do but to also teach them to be better people and to help them make good decisions in life.

My Customers

Teens, being a teen myself, it would be likely that teens would come into the teen center. Anyone of all ages could come in if this center was built, they can view what is going on and help in roles like advisers and support. For teens, it would give them opportunities to interact with others in a positive environment. Not only will they be able to have fun but they would also be able to try new things and let their ideas go out to others.

My idea will be like a flexible mold. It would fit directly to the customers. It would be like they, individually and as a whole, will be the ones in charge. If they have an idea they can express it, whether it be something to teach, a service, or even something that they love to do and they can show it off. The customers will be the ones who can choose what they do and take center.

My Goals

My main goal is to try to help teens make good decisions in their life and to lead them in the right direction. I think that teens should be able to express themselves in a creative and individual way and they should have the right to show it off to others. I would like to see a place for teens to connect, express themselves, teach, learn, create, move forward, and simply to have fun!
